This month gallery is 'Polaroid Transfer Imaging' which in the heyday of Polaroid film was used as another means of being more creative with your photography.

I came across the book Polaroid Transfers by Kathleen Thormod Carr in the mid 1990's - sadly today I believe that Polaroid as a company no longer exists, although there are suppliers still selling Polaroid film on the web and on 'Amazon' I have recently noticed that there are other books available on the subject.

Many filters which are available for purchase for use in Photoshop can give a Polaroid image effect - however the images shown here were all created by hand using Polaroid film of various types, and various processes to give the different effects.
